Deep sea fishing

Trev out deep sea fishing with my brother Gerry, and his catch.

Looking towards the mainland from the caravan park.

Cotton Tree Caravan Park

The view from about 10mtrs in front of our van, it is beautiful. Looking out to the river mouth.

The man over the road from us here at the caravan park has made this little fishing cart, the water is only about 40 mtrs from his doorstep, it carries his dingy motor and all he needs! and is motorised. Trev was planning his I could tell!

It was great to see Bec, pity the weather was a bit cold in sunny Queensland.

We flew from Cairns, last October for my niece Nicoles wedding to Aaron, and now they are expecting a baby in November, when we will be in WA, guess that will be a good excuse for a quick trip over!

For a change it wasn't Bec clowning around - it was her cousin Kate

How many relies can you fit in a caravan?

Bec with her younger cousins, Ben, Jasi and Todd

Gerry, Fay, Bec and me. Trev's outside cooking the fish for lunch.

Bec came to visit. My brother's partner Fay,me and Bec. It was great to catch up with them

More water, as we headed down the pass into Beerwah. One of my brothers lives here.

Sommerset Dam

On the way to the Sunshine Coast, up in the mountains. This dam was overflowing the days before and again days later. It is great to see lots of water in the dams as Toowoomba is on level 5 water restrictions - you can't wash your car, even with a bucket of water.

Toowoomba

On leaving Toowoomba, Cathy directed us past this quilt shop, just for a quick look. Quick look right Trev said "Look there's the quilt shop".
