We decided to head back to Townsville and to check on the caravan and awning after massive rain storms
Gerry - Lucky we didn't hire scooters, we just stuck to the bus as you can buy an all day pass, hop on and off as you please or to avoid the rain!
It didn't rain all day - looking back at Picnic Bay
Horseshoe Bay beach with big thunderstorms in background
Actually this is the ferry we went over on, here it is heading back and into a thunderstorm.
Heading over to Magnetic Island - a twenty minute trip
Trev with Shane at the back and Logan in front, Nanna has told me I have the boys confused, so I have changed the names to the correct ones I hope.

Mena falls This place was amazing, you can have you breakfast here by the waterfall ( Your entry fee allows you stay in the small caravan park overnight)
The castle lit up a night - in the wet season it becomes covered in a green moss
Mena Falls at Paronella Park - a castle and grounds created by a Spanish man back in 1933
